C.N.G. (natural gas) Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) is a substitute for gasoline (petrol), diesel, or propane fuel. It is considered to be an environmentally "clean" alternative to those fuels and it is much safer than other motor fuels in the event of a fuel spill: natural gas is lighter than air, so it disperses quickly when leaked or spilled. It is made by compressing natural gas (which is mainly composed of methane (CH4)), by about 75%. It is stored and distributed in hard containers, at a normal pressure of 200/220 bar, usually in cylindrical or spherical shapes to maintain equal pressure on the walls of the containers. In response to high fuel prices and environmental concerns, compressed natural gas is starting to be used in light-duty passenger vehicles and pickup trucks, medium-duty delivery trucks, and in transit and school buses. The "C.N.G. Roadster" is one of the first production vehicles available to the public that runs on (C.N.G.)

Research and Development Currently the Eco-Fueler team is building Roadsters on a daily basis, but what you may not know is that they are also currently developing their own unique power plant for use in future "C.N.G. Roadsters" The engine design is currently a three-cylinder water-cooled high performance motor designed specifically for C.N.G. use in a automotive application. It is a 1000c.c. SOHC motor that is cast from aluminum, and uses steel sleeve inserts which makes it very light-weight, and Yes,.. it is made in the U.S.A also.

Benefits of C.N.G. Natural gas is produced both worldwide and domestically at relatively low cost and is cleaner burning than gasoline or diesel fuel. Natural gas vehicles show an average reduction in ozone-forming emissions of 80 percent compared to gasoline vehicles.
